US Military Presence guarantees 100% that China will Attack the Philippines during a War on Taiwan

So the current Administration is really intent on not only implementing, but also accelerating the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) with the United States (US). 

All I can say is that as long as there is a significant American Military Presence and access here in the Philippines, there is 100% chance that China will, indeed, attack us when they go to war with the US over Taiwan. 

If there are no American Military Presence here in the Philippines, there is still a chance China will indeed attack us, but the chances are much less. Switch it another way, if we go into a Military Alliance with China, there will be no need for them to attack us anymore, we can be a Military Ally to them just like Pakistan and other Countries. Just saying. 

As for our Territorial Dispute with China, why obsess over the Kalayaan Island Group (KIG) which we only formally started claiming in the 1970s under former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. when it was found out there was Oil and Gas there? 

When Tomas Cloma went to the Spratly Islands in the 1950s, he didn't go there to claim those for the Philippines, he wanted to start his own Country. It was only in the 1970s when he changed his claim for those to be for the Philippines. 

Besides, the Spratlys are just small Islands hundreds of kilometers from our Shores, if we can give up a significant Territories like Sabah to Malaysia and Itu Aba to Taiwan, why not those, then? I don’t even think we will need to give up the KIG, I think China is more than willing to do some sort of Settlement for them.
