Filipinos don’t think Philippines headed in the Right Direction despite BBM’s Anti-China, Pro-US Stance

One News: More Think Phl Headed In Wrong Direction – OCTA Poll

The OCTAResearch Group recently released the Results of their latest Surveys made from September 30 to October 4, 2023, and it shows that Optimism among Filipinos about the direction that the Philippines is headed has declined significantly. 

First off, more Filipinos think that the Philippines is NOT headed in the right Direction under the Administration of Bobong Bong Marcos (BBM). Only 62% said that it is, down from 72% in July 2023. In fact, less and less Filipinos are thinking it is, compared to a high of 85% back in October 2022. 

Here is the Trend showing this significant Decline: 

* October 2022: 85%

* March 2023: 76%

* July 2023: 72%

* October 2023: 62%

At the same time, more Filipinos now think that the Country is headed in the Wrong Direction, and it has been rising steadily in the past twelve Months: 

* October 2022: 6%

* March 2023: 10%

* July 2023: 11%

* October 2023: 20%

‘Parting Shot’

For me, this Survey Result shows that Filipinos are much smarter now, they are not easily fooled by the constant Anti-China, Pro-United States (US) Propaganda that Bobong Bong has is trying to spread to try to make People forget about the rising Inflation Rate and slowing Economic Growth Rate. 

This despite the most of the Philippines’ Main Stream Media (MSM) giving their full Support to this Propaganda Line. Not to mention the support of this Administration’s Social Media Troll Farms. It shows that “Fighting China” is just NOT the Priority of Filipinos, they just want to be as Progressive as possible like most of our Neighbors in South East Asia (SEA)
