The Philippine Marines acquiring Rocket Launcher Weapons

The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) is set to acquire Squad Rocket Launcher Light (SRLL) weapons similar to the RPG-7. 702 units are for acquisition, and is required to have Bipods and Optical Sights. Also required are Training ammunition, Accessories and Spare Parts. If successful, delivery is set for within one year upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Training for 15 people for five days with Hotel accommodations and expenses at the manufacturer’s country is also specified, as well as 1,000 round warranty for the units, 15 years guarantee for Spare Parts and 2 years guarantee for services.

Most interesting for me is that aside from Anti-Personnel and Anti-Tank ammunition, they are also buying Thermobaric rounds for use against Bunkers and Fortified Positions, like what happened in the Battle of Marawi.
