A Bidding has been put out recently for a Full Motion Simulator (FMS) of the AW109P and Bell 412EP Helicopters of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) with budget of Php 246 million (or Usd 5 million assuming an Exchange Rate of Usd 1 = Php 49).
An FMS is defined as a simulator with all six degrees of freedom, meaning Roll, Pitch, Yaw, Surge, Sway, and Heave. However, it seems the term more commonly used nowadays is a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) based on my searches on Google.
As per the Technical Specifications, two sets of Cockpits are required for the FMS, one for the AW109 and another for the Bell 412EP. The FMS shall have 6 degrees of Freedom with an Actuator Stroke of 36 inches or 3 feet.
The Display System should have a Field of 40 degrees on the Vertical and 200 degrees on the Horizontal, and should be compatible with Night Vision Goggles (NVG). The simulation should include all Philippine Airports and Training Areas to be defined by the PAF.
Bidding is set for next Month (September 2020), and delivery is required within 1 Year from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to the Winning Bidder. The FMS is set to be delivered to the Air Education, Training and Doctrines Command (AETDC) in Fernando Air Base in Batangas.
