The Democrats won the last two contested Seats in the United States (US) Senate, and with these wins, they now have control of the Executive (thru incoming President Joe Biden) and the Legislative Branches of the US Government.
They had earlier won majority Seats in the House of Representatives. Remember that the US Democratic Party is a very close ally of the Philippine Opposition.
The Philippine Opposition seems to have been so far silent about these developments, but I am sure they are celebrating amongst themselves discreetly as this is the best result that they had hoped for.
‘Para daw di obyus na mga Pilipinong Aso sila ng Amerika’ (So it won’t be obvious that they are the Filipino Dogs of the Americans).
