While surfing YouTube recently, I discovered this Channel called “Growling Sidewinder” which I found to be highly entertaining, hence I just wanted to share it here.
The Channel Owner is a “Pilot” on a relatively realistic Computer Simulator called Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) where he gets to fly all types of Aircraft. In this Video, he is on an American F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter Aircraft going up against the Russian Su-57 Felon.
They went into 5 simulated Dogfights, and I won’t say who won, just watch the Video. But it was a close fight and very entertaining as not only do you get to see the Dogfights from a Cockpit Point of View, but there are Point of Views outside of the Aircraft also which helps one see what actually happened.
The Commentary is also pretty nice, the “Pilot” tells you what’s happening, his thoughts, etc. Also some good tips on Dogfighting, and some interesting insights as well, like apparently the Sun still gives some problems to even modern Air to Air Missiles, at least in these Simulations.
