I was at the 2022 Philmarine Exhibit at the SMX Convention Center this afternoon. Tomorrow (Thursday, June 23, 2022) is their last Day so you can still go there if you want. You can head on over also at their Website at https://www.philmarine.com/ to get more details about it.

The Attendance was good, though not overly crowdy, at least during the time that I went there. The highlights for me were the fact that they seem to have more Boats on Display now compared to their last Event which I attended a couple of Years ago, most if not all by local Companies.

IMHO, I think that the Government should mandate that all Boats that are less than 12 meter long that are bought by them should be from local Suppliers, if they aren’t doing that already. That would be a big boost to the Philippine Shipbuilding Industry.

The Indonesian Company PT Pal was there with a Scale Model of the Landing Dock (LD) they are offering to the Philippine Navy (PN). The PN also has a Booth there with a nice, large Scale Model of the Jose Rizal-class Frigates
