NPA dismisses BBM Gov't's goal to end their Insurgency by 2025, says they will continue to Fight

Here is another News Blackout by the Philippine Press as the Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) has again been embarrassed when the New People's Army (NPA) recently told the Foreign Press that they have no intention of ending their Fight against the Government and dismissed its goal of ending their Insurgency by 2025. 

The Chairwoman of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) Julie de Lima said that, and I quote: "Even at this early Stage, we can already see that they [the NPA Units] are being strengthened. Year after Year and Regime after Regime, the Armed Forces of the Philippines has set the target of ending the revolutionary armed struggle but it has never succeeded. There are no indications that it would succeed by 2025", end quote. 

The NPA is the Armed Wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), and together with the Political Wing of the CPP, the NDFP, they have been waging a War against the Philippine Government for 55 Years now since 1969, one of the longest Insurgencies in the World. An estimated 60,000 Filipino lives has already been lost in that time in their War against the Government.

Late last Year of 2023, the BBM Government agreed to hold Peace Talks with the CPP, but after this pronouncement it is obvious that they have no intentions of surrendering to the Government and the Talks will likely go nowhere again just as it has for Decades now. 

The CPP claims that their NPA is still active in 14 out of the 17 Regions in the Philippines, and have managed to fend off the equivalent of 150 combined Battalions of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police and Citizen Auxiliary Force Geographical Units. 

On top of this, despite the NPA being nowhere near being crushed, the BBM Administration has still insisted on switching to "Territorial Defense" against China, thanks to the Political Propaganda Manipulations of the NDFP and their Sympathizers to put pressure from the Philippine Military away from the NPA.
