News related to the acquired Weapons of the Philippines, 2022

Photo here

September 30, 2022: I’m just wondering why the Philippine Army (PA) still keeps calling their brand new Self-Propelled Howitzers (SPH) as "ATMOS 2000" when its Manufacturer Elbit Systems just calls it as "ATMOS" now on their official Website?

September 28, 2022: The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) just bought Hermes 900 Drones, and Elbit is announcing it all over the Internet. And yet when we bought our Hermes Drones from them, there was absolutely now News about it until much later. I wonder what happened with that

September 1, 2022: The Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) Company recently told the South Korean Press that they currently have a maximum capacity of up to five (5) TA-50/FA-50 Aircraft per Month or sixty (60) per Year. The Production Time of a TA-50/FA-50 Aircraft though including completion of all Tests takes around 30 Months or two and half (2 ½) Years, so unless there are existing Aircraft that are already in Production that can be reallocated, then Customers will have to wait that long for an Aircraft on order to be delivered

September 6, 2022: I was able to see a look at the brand new Fast Attack Interdiction Craft (FAIC) at the Philippine Navy (PN) Headquarters along Roxas Boulevard this Morning, and these Vessels are a lot bigger and more intimidating than the Multi Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC). The only bummer is that the Weapons were partially disassembled and covered, the Barrels were removed for the Transport. I'm not in a hurry to release my Pictures and Videos of them though as I have some other News that I want to release first

September 6, 2022: The Philippine Navy (PN) announced recently that they will be christening the first two of nine Shaldag Mk V Fast Attack Interdiction Craft (FAIC) that they acquired from Israel this Morning, Tuesday, September 6, 2022. I posted a Video about these two Vessels more than two Weeks ago as they were being delivered from Israel, you can watch that Video here

August 23, 2022: Good to see India taking quick action on the firing of a BrahMos Missile into Pakistan just this March of 2022 as three Indian Air Force (IAF) Officers have now been fired from the Service after they were found to have deviated from the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Missile resulting in it being fired accidentally

July 28, 2022: The Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) Company announced recently that Nigeria has signed a Contract to acquire six of their T129 ATAK Helicopters. No other Details of the transaction has been revealed yet, though

July 20, 2022: Poland is reportedly set to buy 48 FA-50 Aircraft soon. 8 of the Aircraft set for delivery next Year (2023) to the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) will be diverted to Poland instead. The Article also mentions the Price of each FA-50 to be at Krw 50 billion, or around Usd 38 million at the Exchange Rate of Krw 1,313 per Dollar. I assume that these will be the Block 15 version already

July 17, 2022: I didn’t see this when it came out last May 2022, a new Video about the FA-50 by the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). As we all know, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) operates the FA-50PH Fighting Eagle as an Advanced Trainer and Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)

April 6, 2022: Good to know that Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana is pro-active, immediately calling India’s Ambassador to the Philippines after the reported “misfiring” of a BrahMos Missile that the Philippines just bought into Pakistan. I think India should, at the very least, fire all the People involved in that Incident

March 16, 2022: India suffered an embarrassing Incident recently when it accidentally fired a BrahMos Missile into Pakistan, just Months after they sold the same Missiles to us. I think they should at least Jail those People who were responsible for the Incident
