Three Leaders of the New People’s Army (NPA) were exterminated in Surigao Del Sur recently by Philippine Army (PA) Troops belonging to the 30th and 36th Infantry Battalions of the 901st Infantry Brigade during an Encounter. The slain Leaders were identified as Alberto Castaneda (alias Justine or JD), Eric Mahinay Colon (alias Neo) and Ranjie Perlos (alias Goyong)

February 20, 2023: A BIFF Leader and his Follower were exterminated by Government Forces in Tacurong City recently 

A Leader and a Follower of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters – Karialan Faction (BIFF-KF) were exterminated by Government Forces recently in Tacurong City in Mindanao recently. The slain Leader was named Abdulkarem Lumbatan Hasim (alias Boy Jacket) and he was a Field Commander of the BIFF-KF. Warrants of Arrest were being attempted to be served to him when he and his Follower fought back with their Firearms, forcing the Government Forces to shoot back and unalive them right on the spot
