Thales Tacticos CMS being installed on the BRP Jose Rizal Frigate

UPDATE: March 19, 2020 - 1924H

All, this looks like a FALSE ALARM as Shepard Media has removed the reference to the "Thales Tacticos" on the latest version of their article. However, the original article before it was changed can still be viewed at the Archive Today website, here is the link: https://archive.fo/vMEQX

So the Combat Management System (CMS) of the BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150) as of now will still be the Naval Shield (NS).

*************************

Shepard Media reports that late stage development is going on which includes the integration of the Thales Tacticos Combat Management System (CMS) on the BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150) Frigate.

If it can be recalled, the use of the Naval Shield CMS was a big issue during the development of the Jose Rizal class Frigates, but now it seems that the Thales Tacticos is being integrated into the ship in place of it.

No other details were provided, I hope more details will come up soon from the Philippine Navy (PN) and/or Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
