But it only mentioned it in passing, it didn’t provide a lot of details. The Article in fact only mentioned it in one Paragraph. To directly quote the Article:
“The Air Force also took deliveries of air defense missiles to protect its five new radar sites capable of detecting incoming aircraft 400 miles away while its South Korea FA-50 light fighters have been equipped with air-to-air and air-to-ground tactical missiles”.
Earlier in January 2019, the Department of National Defense (DND) confirmed that the System will be the SpyDer from Israel.
A Report in April 2020 possibly refers to those Missiles, it said that the German Government had approved the Sale of 72 Missiles from Diehl Defense. The name of the Missiles itself were not mentioned, but Diehl Defense does manufacture the AIM-9L.
