The Department of National Defense (DND) recently released some Photos of the FA-50PH Fighting Eagle Aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) heavily armed with American made and/or designed Weapons (see the Pictures above and below).

On the outer Wingtip Rails were likely AIM-9L Sidewinder Air to Air Missiles. On the outer Pylons under the Wings are Paveway Guided Bombs, and on the inner Pylons under the Wings were the AGM-65 Maverick Air to Surface Missiles. 

FA-50PH sighted with KITS ACMI Pod

In their video posted on July 1, 2020 on their official Facebook Page, an FA-50PH Fighting Eagle of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) was shown fitted with a Kadena Interim Training System (KITS) Air Combat Maneuver Instrumentation (ACMI) Pod made by the American company Cubic.

The KITS ACMI Pod is used to record the FA-50PH’s in-flight data for Air Combat Maneuver (ACM) Training and Analysis.

Communist Party of the Philippines uses FA-50 aircraft in their Propaganda – Apr. 7, 2020

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) used the FA-50PH Fighting Eagle aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) in its propaganda recently, accusing it of dropping five 500 lb. Bombs near two Lumad Communities in Bukidnon.

As per the CPP, the FA-50 dropped three bombs in the morning and another two in the afternoon, supposedly traumatizing Children and other Residents of the Community.

Expect the CPP to keep incorporating any advanced weapon of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) into their Propaganda because that is what they do, especially as their already pathetic decades long fruitless struggle continues on.
