Is the BRP Sierra Madre now in desperate need of Repairs? China won’t likely allow it, unless the AFP compromises, or the President is like Digong

The Fact that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) tried to sneak in Construction Materials to the BRP Sierra Madre (LT-57) there at Ayungin Shoal could mean that its state is now getting worse and is DESPERATE need of Repairs.  

If so, and the Ship is not repaired soon, then the Living Conditions of the Soldiers stationed there will get worse also, until it reaches a point where any long term habitation there won’t be feasible anymore. If so, then the AFP could just end up abandoning it altogether, allowing China to remove the Remnants of the Ship. 

China likely won’t allow such Repairs or the bringing in of Construction Materials, unless the AFP and/or the Philippines compromises, or if the President is like Rodrigo Duterte who was friendly to them. If the AFP wants, they can force the United States (US) to accompany them there if they can. 

If the US does accompany them there, then expect a confrontation, because China cannot back down, it cannot afford to. If they do, they will lose a lot of respect, especially with the rest of South East Asia (SEA) which they already have good Relations with. 

So I guarantee that if the Americans come with the AFP, there will be clashes of some sort. It may start with little harm, but as time goes by it will get worse and worse. This is the main reason why the US has been using a lot of DELAYING TACTICS in terms of going with that Joint Patrol, they are buying time, hoping that some other Solution comes to play
