The Philippine Navy's plans as of May 2020

An anonymous official of the Philippine Navy (PN) laid out its current acquisition plans to the legitimate news organization One News. To summarize some of the points of the article:

* PN plan is to spend Php 75 billion to build a 50 Ship Maritime Force

* Php 100 billion is needed for 100 more Support Vessels and 34 Fixed and Rotary Wing
Aircraft

* 4 additional Frigates are planned for acquisition until 2028

* 2 Corvettes for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) worth Php 28 billion will be acquired until 2023 from a South Korean Shipyard (likely Hyundai Heavy Industries or HHI as per previous news reports), plus an additional 10 more.

* 6 Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) will be acquired for Php 30 billion from an Australian Shipyard (likely to be Austal as per previous news reports) until 2023. Another 6 more OPVs are planned for acquisition by 2028, and yet another 6 more after that.

* 8 Attack Fast Interdiction Craft (FAIC) will be bought for Php 8 billion from Israel until 2023. An additional 40 more are planned to be bought until 2028.

* 42 more Multi-Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC) are planned for acquisition

* 2 more Landing Docks (LD) worth Php 5.5 billion are planned for acquisition until 2023 from an Indonesian supplier (likely to be PT Pal as per previous news reports)

* Shore based Anti-Ship Missiles (AShM) and Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) are also planned for acquisition

* 2 to 4 Submarines has been pushed out to possibly after 2028
