While the A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft bought by the Philippine Air Force (PAF) were being delivered, the Afghan Air Force (AAF) recently received 4 brand new Super Tucano Aircraft donated to them by the the United States (US).
US Army Commander Lt. Gen. Deedrick said in his Speech during the Ceremony that Afghanistan had already received 14 Super Tucano Aircraft before, and an additional 6 more will be arriving in February 2021.
As per the Article, the US is aiming to transfer a grand total of 150 Black Hawk Helicopters, 150 MD-530 Helicopters, 6 Super Tucano and 5 AC-208 Aircraft to Afghanistan by 2021.
