The DOTR and China should move Fast to complete their Railway Projects by 2028

It is good that China and the Department of Transportation (DOTR) are restarting Talks about China funding the three Railway Projects that were canceled just several Months ago.

However, both Sides need to understand the URGENCY of these Projects, they need to move quickly to finish them before the end of the Term of President Bong Bong Marcos (PBBM) in 2028.

Between now and 2028 is six Years, that should be more than enough time for the Projects to be finished. If they are not completed by that time, then there will be a Problem as the delays will have an impact on the lives of the Filipino People who are supposed to benefit directly from those Projects but won’t.

It is also in the interest of China to have them completed still with a sitting President not antagonistic to them. Of course I am hoping that Sara Duterte wins the Presidency in 2028, but then again nobody can really predict the Future.

What if, Gad forbid, Knock on Wood an Anti-China, Pro-American Pinklawan President wins instead in 2028? Then there could be problems for China if these Projects are not finished yet by then as these could be Politicized.

So everyone should move quickly, have these done before PBBM steps out of Office in 2028. The three Railway Projects by the way are the PNR South Long Haul Project (North-South Commuter Railway), Subic-Clark Railway and Mindanao Railway (Tagum-Davao-Digos).

And oh, by the way, which Infrastructure Projects are the Americans helping us again with? None? You mean they are just content to building us one one-story School House every time there is an Exercise in Palawan? LOL.
