OUR NORTHERN NEIGHBOR: Taiwan, 2023-2026

July 20, 2026: Taiwan refuses to officially recognize the Philippines’ Ownership of Batanes, but Philippine Press refuses to report about it
Here is one Article that is being ignored by the Filipino Supporters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) like the Philippine Press, it is about how Taiwan refuses to acknowledge the Philippines' Ownership of the Batanes Islands

Apparently the Taiwanese Government has been playing around with its official wordings to evade the Issue on the ownership of the Batanes Islands, especially in the latest Incident when Chinese Scholars supposedly tried to claim it.

Here are some Excerpts from the Article itself: "But here at Domino Theory, it was what Hsiao didn’t say that raised an Eyebrow. Loudly proclaiming Batanes is not Chinese is not equivalent to saying Batanes is Filipino.

And saying that the Chinese claim is illegitimate because Taiwan is not a Part of China leaves the question of whether Taiwan itself might consider it has a claim on Batanes uncomfortably ambiguous.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines didn’t respond to an E-mail asking for Clarification. The Mainland Affairs Council, which handles Taiwan’s relations with China, said that it was a matter for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Presidential Office said that Spokesperson Hsiao had already addressed the Point.

When asked, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Domino Theory on July 16: “There is no Territorial Dispute between Taiwan and the Philippines regarding Batan Island. It is the unrealistic Fantasy of Chinese Scholars.”

Unfortunately, that still left the ambiguity intact. So the question was put to the Foreign Ministry a second time, far more explicitly:

“We are trying to work out whether MOFA is prepared to say that the ROC recognizes Filipino Sovereignty over the Batanes Islands. We noticed that in previous Statements, including your answer to us, this is left somewhat ambiguous.” (ROC stands for Republic of China, the Name of the State that governs Taiwan.)

A Ministry of Foreign Affairs refusal to clarify this Point doesn’t inherently mean Taiwan doesn’t recognize Filipino sovereignty over the Batanes islands. But it does beg the question of why they won’t go ahead and say that.

Regardless, this was the Foreign Ministry’s final reply: “Thank you for your interest in this matter and for your coverage. We have previously provided a response to your inquiry and will not be repeating that information here.

January 16, 2024: Taiwan loses another Ally as Nauru switches Side to China
Another major Diplomatic Victory for China recently as it was able to convince another of the few remaining Countries in the World that recognize Taiwan as a Country to switch Sides. The small Island Country of Nauru has now cut off Diplomatic Relations with Taiwan and switch its Alliance to China.

This latest move resulted in Taiwan being recognized as a Country by only a dozen other Countries around the World which includes the Vatican, Eswatini, Belize, Haiti, Guatemala and Paraguay. Nauru only has a Population of around 12,500 People

October 19, 2023: Taiwan seems to be constantly pressuring the Philippines for a Military Alliance
I just found it a bit strange that the Philippines seem to keep saying in Public that they do NOT want to have Military Alliance with Taiwan, like the one just made recently by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Lieutenant General Romeo Brawner Jr.

Looking at my previous Posts, Taiwan has made this Military Alliance Request publicly at least twice already this Year of 2023, and looking at the previous News Reports, the Philippines have denied this Request at least twice also already.

I agree with the Stance of the AFP in denying these Requests, it is not in the Interests of the Philippines to defend Taiwan, and also they stole Itu Aba from us and even are claiming Batanes to be theirs. Makes me wonder now if the United States (US) is also helping Taiwan put pressure on the Philippines to grant this Request

September 24, 2023:How the US dilly-dallied in its support for Taiwan in the 1950s
A good look at how the United States (US) dilly-dallied with its Support for Taiwan against China in the 1950s

September 10, 2023: Taiwan now wants to ally with the Philippines which they stole Itu Aba from
It is the absolute height of Comedy and also of st*p*d*ty that no less than the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Taiwan itself which issued an Official Statement wanting to ally with the Philippines against China despite the Fact that they STOLE the Island of Itu Aba from the Philippines itself.

What would be more st*p*d is if the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) goes out and agrees with this. But with Weakling Junior so deep sniffing inside the United States’ (US) A** now, who knows, anything is possible.

And Taiwan, ENJOY Itu Aba, it is all yours while the Philippines will fight to the Death ‘daw’ for some Rocks in the middle of the Sea which we only started officially claiming in the 1970s (sarcasm)

June 29, 2023: Taiwan wants to have a Security Cooperation with the Philippines, DESPITE them stealing Itu Aba from the Philippines
It is the absolute height of HYPOCRISY for Taiwan to talk about a “Security Cooperation” with the Philippines as their Foreign Minister Jaushieh Joseph Wu proposed recently since they STOLE Itu Aba from the Philippines.

If Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) agrees with this, then what, it’s “Okay” for other Countries like Taiwan to STEAL Territories from the Philippines, but not China? China NEEDS the South China Sea (SCS) to keep the United States (US) from BLOCKING their Trade Routes thru there in case of a War between them over Taiwan

May 16, 2023: Extremely obtuse Risa Hontiveros goes and praises Taiwan which REJECTED the 2016 Hague Arbitral Ruling that she keeps harping about and who STOLE Itu Aba from the Philippines
Just showing lengths of stup1d1ty of Risa Hontiveros that she goes over and visits Taiwan and meets with all smiles the same Politician Tsai Ing Wen which REJECTED the Arbitral Ruling by The Hague in 2016 which she keeps harping about against China

And let’s not forget that Taiwan STOLE Itu Aba from the Philippines. So in Risa Hontiveros’ tiny Brain, it is “okay” for Taiwan to steal Territory from the Philippines, but not when it comes to having Territorial Disputes with China? Another Reason why NOT to elect into Power stup1d People like these …

March 16, 2023: Taiwan, Stealer of Itu Aba from the Philippines, lost another Diplomatic Ally to China recently
Taiwan who stole Itu Aba from the Philippines lost another Diplomatic Ally in Honduras who will start establishing official Diplomatic Ties with China. Taiwan has so far lost 8 Diplomatic Allies already who recognize them as a Country since 2016 when the Anti-China President Tsai Ing-wen was elected as President. Taiwan is now left with only 13 Diplomatic Allies around the World
