The United States (US) and its Allies' Military Accidents, 2023-2024

January 31, 2024: Another F-16 crashes in South Korea, the third since 2023 
And yet another F-16 Fighter Aircraft has crashed in South Korea, the third in the Country since 2023. This one crashed in the Yellow Sea and belongs to the 8th Fighter Wing (8FW) of the United States Air Force (USAF)

The Plane reportedly suffered an In-Flight Emergency and the Pilot was able to eject safely and was unharmed. In December 2023, an F-16 also belonging to the 8FW crashed also in the Yellow Sea. And in May 2023, a USAF F-16 also crashed in South Korea. 

This is something that the Philippines needs to consider very carefully if it decides to buy secondhand F-16 Aircraft, especially if it will be from the United States (US)

January 12, 2024: MH-60R Seahawk Helicopter of the USN crashed in California, Crew of 6 survived
An MH-60R Seahawk Helicopter of the United States Navy (USN) crashed in the San Diego Bay in California recently during a Training Exercise. 

All six People onboard survived and didn't seem to have suffered any serious Injuries. The Philippine Air Force (PAF) currently a Variant of the Seahawk which is the S-70i Black Hawk Helicopter


December 11, 2023: Another USAF F-16 Fighter Aircraft crashed in South Korea
An F-16 Fighting Falcon Aircraft belonging to the 8th Fighter Wing (8FW) of the United States Air Force (USAF) that is based in South Korea (SK) recently crashed into the Yellow Sea. The Aircraft reportedly suffered an In-Flight Emergency that caused the Pilot to Eject from the Aircraft. 

The Pilot was later rescued by the Republic of Korea Maritime Force. This is at least the second F-16 to crash in SK this Year of 2023, the previous one crashed in May 2023.

December 8, 2023: Saudi F-15SA Eagle crashes killing two onboard including a Saudi Prince
An F-15SA Advanced Eagle Fighter Aircraft of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) crashed recently near the King Abdul Aziz Air Base in the City of Dharan in Saudi Arabia. Both Members of the two-Seat Aircraft did not survive the Incident, and one of them was a Prince of the Saudi Royal Family who held the Rank of Colonel in the RSAF. 

The F-15SA is the a Variant of the F-15 Advanced Eagle Aircraft that is unique to Saudi Arabia, with the “SA” standing for “Saudi Advanced”. This is the second F-15SA crash in the last six Months, and the RSAF currently operates approximately 270 F-15 Aircraft, it is one of the biggest Operators in the World of the F-15 Eagle.

December 3, 2023: US P-8 Poseidon Aircraft can also become a Ship to hunt down Submarines, :D 
The P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft of the United States (US) is so highly advanced that if needed, it can also act as a Sea Vessel when hunting down Submarines, LMAO. Just kidding, this is a Picture of the Poseidon Aircraft of the US Navy (USN) that overshot the Runway of a Marine Corps Base in Hawaii last Month of November 2023 because of some unknown Reason that is still being Investigated. 

No one was hurt in the Incident, but up to now the US has still not been able to retrieve the Aircraft from the Area where it crashed. The US has already spent Usd 200,000 on Operations involving the current State of the Aircraft, and it is estimated they will have to spend another Usd 1.5 million just to recover it completely

November 13, 2023: Elite US Special Forces Black Hawk Helicopter crashed in the Mediterranean Sea, killing five onboard
An MH-60M Black Hawk Helicopter of the Elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), nicknamed the "Night Stalkers", of the United States (US) Army crashed in the Mediterranean Sea recently, killing five Soldiers and Airmen. 

The Helicopter was said to be conducting an Aerial Refueling Training when it experienced and In-Flight Emergency that resulted in the crash. The Night Stalkers provide Aerial Support to all of the US' Special Forces Units

August 27, 2023: USMC MV-22B Aircraft with 23 People on Board crashed in Australia
An MV-22B Osprey Tilt-Rotor Transport Aircraft of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) with 23 People on board crashed in the remote Location of Melville Island recently while taking part in the “Predator’s Run” Exercise. 

Of the 23 People in the Aircraft, three has been confirmed Dead while five has been recovered but are badly injured and in Serious Condition. Recovery Operations are still ongoing for the remaining 15 Occupants. 

The Predator’s Run Exercise involves Soldiers from the United States (US), Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines, among others

August 25, 2023: Another USMC Aircraft crashed, an F/A-18D in California before USMC MV-22B crash in Australia
Another Aircraft of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) crashed, this time an F/A-18D Hornet Fighter-Bomber Aircraft near the Miramar Air Station in California recently while conducting Night Operations. The Pilot, who was the only Occupant in the two-seat Aircraft, did not survive the Incident. 

The crashed Hornet belonged to the 224th Fighter Attack Squadron of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing of the USMC. This is the second USMC Aircraft that crashed within the last several Days, a USMC MV-22B Osprey Tilt-Rotor Transport Aircraft also crashed in Australia later after this one

May 20, 2023: Spanish EF-18A Hornet crashes in Spain
An EF-18A Hornet Fighter Aircraft of the Spanish Air and Space Force (SASF) crashed in Zaragosa, Spain recently. The Aircraft was training for a Flying Exhibition when the crash occurred. The Pilot was able to eject safely from the Aircraft before the crash

May 6, 2023: US F-16 in South Korea crashes near Air Base
An F-16 Fighter Aircraft of the United States Forces Korea (USFK) crashed into a Farmland recently near the Osan Air Base in South Korea. The Pilot was able to safely eject and no Civilian Casualties were reported. The Aircraft was conducting a routine Training Flight when the Incident occurred

April 28, 2023: Two Apache Helicopters collided in Alaska, killing three American Soldiers
Two AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters of the United States (US) Army collided in Alaska recently as they were returning to Base after a Training Mission. Three of the four Soldiers onboard both Aircraft were killed in the Incident

April 6, 2023: Another Black Hawk Helicopter has crashed, this time in Japan with 10 People onboard
And another Black Hawk Helicopter has crashed after the two that crashed in the United States (US) recently. This time the one that crashed is a UH-60JA Black Hawk Helicopter of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) which is believed to have crashed in the Sea off the Coast of Miyako Island with 10 People onboard. The UH-60JA is a license-built version by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of the UH-60 Helicopter. The Philippine Air Force (PAF) uses a similar Black Hawk Helicopter version which is the S-70i

April 2, 2023: Two Americans with Filipino Descent among the dead during the crash of two Black Hawk Helicopters in the US
Two Americans with Filipino Descent were among those who were killed during a crash in Kentucky, United States of America (USA) of two HH-60 Black Hawk (similar to the S-70i Black Hawk Helicopters of the Philippine Air Force) Helicopters of the US Army. The Helicopters were conducting a Routine Training Exercise when the crash occurred, killing a total of nine People. This Incident is now one of the worst Training Accidents in the History of the US Army
