“Boycotts don’t work, we are Economically linked and we must not cut ties with China” – NEDA Sec. Balisacan

Politiko: Boycotting ain’t gonna fix the South China Sea Disputes: Balisacan

No less than the “American Boy (Amboy)” and usually Anti-China Secretary of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Arsenio Balisacan is speaking out against the incredibly IGNORANT insistence of Senate President and Presidential ‘Barkada’ (Close Friend) Miguel Zubiri to boycott Chinese Businesses. 

I guess Balisacan knows that if the Economy fails because of the boycott, then he will be among those blamed anyway, so that is why he is speaking out. Here is the Summary of what Balisacan said: 

* Boycotts do not work, this has been proven historically in other Nations before;

* The Economy must be protected, we must not cut Economic Ties with China;

* Our Economy is directly or indirectly linked with China.

Here are excerpts of what he said exactly: “I think we have to look at this issue in a broader Scale. I don’t think that in the History of the World that Boycott will work. That has been proven many times in the History of Nations. So, we have to, you know as the President said, we are Enemy to none, we are a Friend to all, so let’s keep it that way”

“We just have to use the Diplomatic Channels to get our Issues addressed. But the Economy must, by all cost be protected. So, that’s what you don’t want na—we don’t want to cut.”

“We are linked to China directly or indirectly. And that should not be the approach that we take in dealing with our Neighbor”

Zubiri’s GRANDSTANDING against China is becoming a LIABILITY for the Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM), It’s almost as if he is intentionally SABOTAGING the Economy under BBM. 

BBM ideally should be stopping his close Friend by now, but knowing how WEAK he is as a Leader, then nothing is happening.
