China and the World, 2023-2024

January 17, 2025: My Xiaohongshu (RedNote) App Review, January 17, 2025

I downloaded and have been using the App “Xiaohongshu”, also known as “RedNote”, on my Android Smartphone for several Days now, and I highly recommend it to everyone else because it shows a Side of China which we don’t get to see in the West and its Allies much, especially now here in the Philippines under the Pro-United States (US) and Anti-China Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM). 

The App has become famous recently because many Americans have been flocking there instead to spite their own Government for banning TikTok in the US. They said that rather than have China steal their Data, they will just go over to Xiaohongshu and give it to China themselves, LOL. 

Anyway, some of my favorite Content in the App are the Chinese Robot Dogs, it seems more People got to own them there since it is more affordable than the comparable ones in the West. Chinese Citizens also have fallen in love with the new Fighter Aircraft, the J-36 and the J-50 Stealth Fighter Aircraft as there are a lot of Pictures, Videos, Computer Generated Images (CGI) and Scale Models of them there. 

I particularly envy the Chinese printing Scale Models of the J-36 and J-50 on their Three-Dimension (3D) Printing Machines, it is quite awesome. I may Post some of the Videos I find most interesting every now and then in the near Future. 

I noticed that Engagement in the App is a bit low though compared to TikTok, the usual Video I see only has several hundred Likes, and Videos that reach tens or hundreds of thousands are not that common. Just search “Xiaohongshu” or “RedNote” on your App Store and download it if you want to join in. 

November 16, 2024: China helping Peru to become the Singapore of Latin America

Look at that Headline which says something in effect of, "Peru hoping to be the Singapore of Latin America thanks to help from China with its new Megaport". Do you see the United States (US) doing the same for its most loyal Dog in South East Asia (SEA), something like, "Philippines hoping to be the next Singapore thanks to US help with its new Megaport"? 

And to think that Peru is just South of the US, it is basically on the Continent next to it, and yet Peru has had to ask help from China which is much farther away to help them build their Megaport. The "Port of Chancay" as it is now known is worth Usd 3.5 billion and has an Area of 992 hectares. 

The Peruvian Government estimates that it will create up to 8,000 Jobs in the next ten Years, not to mention the amount of increased Trade it will bring into Peru's Economy. This Megaport is Part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Program of China, the same Program which Filipino Dogs of the US actively and proudly sabotaged into almost nothingness here in the Philippines during the Term of former President Rodrigo Duterte. 

But I guess that’s just fitting: “China is helping Peru to become the Singapore of Latin America, while the US is helping the Philippines become the Ukraine of Asia”, LOL.

August 7, 2024: China remains as the World’s Top Vehicle Exporter in the first Half of 2024

China remained as the World's largest Vehicle Exporter in the first half of this Year of 2024 since surpassing Japan last Year of 2023. Chinese Automakers exported 2.793 million Vehicles worth Usd 55.2 billion from January to June of 2024 compared to only 2.0177 million by Japan. 

China’s dominance may go down though as Chinese Vehicle Manufacturers like BYD and Chery are now building Factories in Europe to localize the Production of their Vehicles there.

February 26, 2024: China beats the US to be the Number One Diplomatic Power in the World

China is now the Number one Diplomatic Power in the World ahead of the United States (US), this according to the 2024 Global Diplomatic Index Report made by the Lowy Institute which is based in Australia. 

The Report based this on the number of Diplomatic Postings that a Country has around the World, and China leads this with 274 Posts while the US which came in second only had 271. China reportedly has the edge over the US in Africa, East Asia, the Pacific Island Nations and Central Asia.

February 10, 2024: Dragon Drone Show in Nanning, China during the Chinese New Year Celebrations

Just a nice Video of 2,000 Drones forming a Dragon in the Sky as Part of the recent Chinese New Year Celebrations in the City of Nanning in the Province of Guangxi in China. 2024 also is the Year of the Dragon as per the Chinese Zodiac Sign. 

Drone Shows like these have become more common now in China than the traditional Fireworks Displays and they definitely are more entertaining in that they can form complex Figures in the Night Sky.

November 23, 2023: China’s “Win-Win” Philosophy 

Here is a good Article about China’s “Win-Win” Philosophy when it comes to Negotiations, meaning You and I both “Win” or gets something out of the Negotiation instead of just You win it all, or I win it all. Here are some excerpts from the Article:

October 21, 2023: How China’s BRI and GSI promises Prosperity and Peace on a Global Scale

A nice Article about how China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and its Global Security Initiative (GSI) “… hold the promise of Prosperity and Peace on a Global Scale”. Here are some more Quotes from the Article:

October 14, 2023: China’s BRI is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Sangley International Airport supposed to be part of it

Here is a good Feature about China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in celebration of its 10th Anniversary. I've been reading also that China is coming up with another Summit for this Program and majority of the South East Asia’s (SEA) Leaders will be there, like Vietnam, for example.

But for the Philippines, with Bobong Bong's Pro-United States (US), Anti-China Foreign Policy, I am almost sure he won't be there, I doubt if he will even be invited in the first Place.

The Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) Project was supposed to be a BRI Project, but the US and their Pinoy Canines vehemently against it to stop it. It now has new Investors, but up to now they haven't started its Groundbreaking yet
