Asian Century Journal (ACJ): Reckless Versions of Mutual Defense Treaty court Preemptive Attack on the Philippines |
The Asian Century Journal (ACJ) discussed recently how the presence of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) Bases of the United States (US) is courting and in fact justifying a Preemptive Attack by China or North Korea on the Philippines.
Quoting from the Article: “A State (China or North Korea) may launch an Attack preemptively against another (the Philippines) if it perceives there is an Imminent Threat (coming from the American EDCA bases).”
* “It is only now that the Enhance Defense Cooperation Agreement foreseeing expiry on April 28 next Year that the United States recovered from its Alzheimers forgetting its obligations as a Treaty Ally.”
* “From 2013, the Americans just stood and watched while China reclaimed eight Islands in the South China Seas.”
* “… the Philippines has no right to inspect, much less demand permission for the positioning of (US) Weapons …”
* “… the presence of US Military Weapons means the Philippines can no longer be considered a “Neutral State” and will become a legitimate Target in an International Conflict ...”
