Mindanao as a new Country and a Light Map of the Philippines |

I have put together two Pictures, one on the Left is that of what Things would look like if Mindanao seceded from the Philippines which had gone viral recently, and on the right a recent Light Map of the Philippines.
It is hard to blame former President Rodrigo Duterte if he is thinking of leading the Secession of Mindanao because it has been 78 Years already since we (supposedly) gained our Independence from the United States (US) in 1946 and 38 Years already since the first Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) Revolution back in 1986, and yet where is the Philippines now?
Still very much a Tailender Economically even in the South East Asian (SEA) Region only. Most of our close Neighbors keep having better Economies and better Quality of Life while we continue to be Mediocre, as if forever stuck in Purgatory.
And why is that? One Reason I think is because of the skewed Priorities of the Oligarchic Families that collaborated with the US in Terms of controlling our Country. They have no Empathy for the Lives of the ordinary People, controlling our Policies that best suits only them instead of all Filipinos.
Much of the development in the Country is also focused too much in the National Capital Region (NCR), as proven by the Light Map showing much more development in that Area than the rest of the Country. Duterte did try to spread out the development during his Term, but it obviously has not been enough, he needed more time to do what needs to be done.
I think that an Independent Mindanao led by the Dutertes with their Competence and Right Priorities will, given enough time, end up being much more successful and progressive than the rest of the Philippines.
