Ashley Shine “Manila, Province of China” Issue, another Anti-China Black Propaganda?

So this certain Congressman Jericho Nograles of the Puwersa ng Bayang Atleta (PBA) came forward recently claiming that the Philippine Company “Ashley Shine” has been labeling their Products with the Address as “Manila, Province of China”.

Frankly I am a bit skeptical about this because as I had posted about last May 2020, the (likely) Americans and their Filipino Dogs here in the Philippines have been caught doing this “Philippines, Province of China” Black Propaganda bullshi* at least five times already.

So this will be the SIXTH time they will be doing this. Their aim seems to be to embarrass the Duterte Administration for its friendly ties with China and at the same time make people angry at China also.

China unveiled the Tianlei 500 Anti-Airfield Gliding Cluster Bomb

China recently unveiled the Tianlei 500, basically a Gliding Cluster Bomb that can be used cripple Airfields. “Tianlei” in English translates to “Sky Thunder”. It carries 240 Bomblets that can destroy large areas of Airfields. It can also carry Mines which are designed to Kill or Injure Repair Crews that will try to fix the Airfield Damage.

One Tactic that could be used is to attack an Airfield with the Tianlei 500, then do another attack a short time later to specifically target the Repair Crews trying to fix the Airfield since the Bomblets will also be quite effective against Personnel and Vehicles.

The Airfields of course can be defended by Surface to Air Missiles (SAM), but they do run out also, and they are not 100% accurate, especially against massed attacks using a combination of Cruise Missiles and Decoys.

OUR SEA NEIGHBORS: Malaysia’s GDP shrank by 17.5% in Q2 2020

In another piece of News which the Philippine Press wants to forget as soon as possible and hope Filipinos won’t notice it, Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shrank by 17.5% in the Second Quarter of 2020 (April to June 2020) as a result of the restricted Economic Activity brought about by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic.

So far this is the worst contraction in South East Asia (SEA). Singapore’s GDP also shrank by 13.2%, the worst since 2009. The Philippines’ GDP shrank by 16.5% in the same period, the worst since 1981.

Type 056 Corvette based in Hong Kong joined a Live Fire Exercise in the SCS

The Type 056 Jiangdao class Corvette Huizhou (596) of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) based in Hong Kong participated in a Live-Fire Drill in the South China Sea (SCS) recently.

A Vessel belonging to the same Type 056 class of Ships, the Liupanshiu (514) had an encounter with the BRP Conrado Yap (PS-39) Corvette of the Philippine Navy (PN) in February 2020, so this is a good chance to see some of its Weapons as I had detailed also in a Blog of mine a couple of Months ago about the two Vessels.

Bidding is set for the Full Motion Simulator of AW109 and Bell 412EP Helicopters of the PAF

A Bidding has been put out recently for a Full Motion Simulator (FMS) of the AW109P and Bell 412EP Helicopters of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) with budget of Php 246 million (or Usd 5 million assuming an Exchange Rate of Usd 1 = Php 49).

An FMS is defined as a simulator with all six degrees of freedom, meaning Roll, Pitch, Yaw, Surge, Sway, and Heave. However, it seems the term more commonly used nowadays is a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) based on my searches on Google.

Japan’s GDP shrank by 27.8% in Q2 2020

Japan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shrank by 27.8% in the Second Quarter of 2020 (April to June 2020) compared to the First Quarter of 2020 (January to March 2020) due to the restricted Economic Activity caused by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic.

This is another piece of News which seems that the Philippine Press is reluctant to report, but when the News of the Q2 2020 GDP of the Philippines contracting by 16.5% came out, they were quick and eager to report it.

They don’t want to report News like this because the Narrative or Story they are cultivating is that the Duterte Administration is incompetent and bungling everything as much as possible, and News like this goes against that Narrative since it shows how other Countries are worse off.
