A user named Moresail shared a picture on Reddit which showed a Visby class Corvette it to be about as small as a Buoy when seen on their ship’s Radar. This is a clear illustration of how Stealth Technology works on Naval Vessels.
The Visby’s small Radar Signature makes it harder to pick up by Radar at longer ranges and thus making it harder to attack also. The ship was able to detect the Visby because it was only 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away from it. If the ship was much further away, it probably would not have been able to detect the Visby at all.
In reality, the Visby is around 73 m long, weighs 640 tons and is operated by the Swedish Navy. It is not a big ship, smaller than our BRP Conrado Yap Corvette, but definitely not as small as a Buoy.
