Some updates about the Philippines’ acquisition of India’s PJ-10 BrahMos missile for the Philippine Army (PA):
* Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana confirmed that the Contract Signing of the BrahMos missiles will indeed be made next year as earlier reported by the Indian Press. He added that it will be either in the first or second Quarter of 2020.
* Two Batteries will be acquired.
* The article says that each Battery will consist of three Mobile Autonomous Launchers, with each launcher containing 2-3 BrahMos missiles. This means a total of 6-9 missiles per Battery, or 12-18 missiles for two Batteries.
So that’s it, folks, THE BRAHMOS IS COMING TO THE PHILIPPINES!!!
