The Philippines has been stricken off the List of Countries eligible for H-2B Visas to the United States (US) again.
The H-2B Visa allows Foreign Workers to work temporarily in the United States for Temporary Nonagricultural Services or Labor on a One-Time, Seasonal, Peakload or Intermittent Basis.
Note that the US previously allowed Philippine Citizens to be eligible for the H-2B Visas, but not in the last two years (2019-2020). This could be a sign of deepening tensions between the Governments of the Philippines and the US due to various issues including Human Rights.
