MPAC Arming Schedule and Plan Changes

Some changes related to the arming of the Multi-Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC) of the Philippine Navy (PN) are as follows:

First off is that the schedule for arming the latest batch of MPACs with Spike ER missiles has been pushed out to the last quarter of 2020. Previously the schedule was to be the first quarter of this year (2020).

Second is that the previous batches of the MPAC, the Mk 1 and Mk 2 will now only be up-armed with Mini-Typhoon Remote Weapons Station (RWS). The Department of National Defense (DND) previously studied the possibility of arming the older batches with Spike ER missiles also.
