The South Korean Company Ziwoo Information and Technology recently announced the completion of the installation and delivery of their “Shooting Guide” Tactical Shooting Simulation System for the Virtual – Tactical Engagement Simulation System (V-TESS) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The System is a fully interactive, 3-dimensional Shooting Training System that uses various types of Small Arms from Pistols, Carbines, Assault Rifles, Heavy Machine Guns, Rocket Propelled Grenades, etc to shoot Targets on Environments projected on a Wall.
It uses Class 1 Eye Safe Laser Systems to designate where the Target is hit, and can last up to 6 Months even when used for 5-8 Hour per Day.
The System also uses a Pneumatic System to simulate up to 90% of Felt Recoil, and one Charge can last a minimum of 100 Shots.
- 1 System with 12 Lanes
- 4 Systems with 4 Lanes each
The System started operations in May 2018 and also includes an unspecified number of Assault Recognition Vests (ARV) which simulates being hit by vibrating and turning on a light.
