The Philippine National Police (PNP) just provided an update on the Aerial Assets that they have acquired or are acquiring, and it goes as follows:
* Three Airbus H125 Helicopters worth Php 205 million (Usd 4.19 million at the Exchange Rate of Usd 1 = Php 49) each have been delivered and currently undergoing Field Testing and Evaluation prior to Acceptance.
* The proceeds that the PNP will get from the Bell 429 GlobalRanger Helicopter that crashed last March 2020 will be used to buy two Airbus H130 Helicopters which will be used as Air Ambulances.
- Seven H125 Helicopters
- Two Robinson R44 Trainer Helicopters
- One Cessna C150 Fixed Wing Trainer Aircraft
******************************
The Philippine News Agency (PNA) Article says that the “proceeds” from the crashed Bell 429 Helicopter is worth Php 430 million, but reports from March 2020 says this could be the Insurance for the Aircraft which is worth only Php 343 million (Usd 7 million).
Unless of course they got additional Money from some other Sources which allowed them to go up to Php 430 million.
