The Real Story behind Turkey’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 Missile System

Here is a great Article telling the REAL story behind Turkey’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 Triumf Surface to Air Missile (SAM) System.

Basically what happened was this: Turkey originally wanted to buy the United States’ (US) MIM-104 Patriot SAM System back in 2012, but asked for Technology Transfer as well to be included in the sale. 

The US President then was the Democrat Barrack Obama who refused to sell it to them with the Technology Transfer package. So Turkey set up a bidding to buy the SAM System from other Countries, and China won the bidding. 

However, since China was on the US’ embargo list, Turkey didn’t award it to them out of respect to the US’ decision. But despite that action, the US still refused to sell the Patriot with Technology Transfer, so after 2 Years of waiting, Turkey finally decided to go with Russia’s S-400 System. 

But again the US also didn’t want Turkey to buy from Russia, hence now they ended up putting Sanctions on them. 

To summarize, the US was willing to sell their Patriot Missiles to Turkey, but with conditions. China and Russia were willing to sell Turkey their Missiles without those conditions, but the US didn’t want Turkey to buy from them, hence they are imposing Sanctions on Turkey. 

Clearly this is interference with the Sovereignty of another Country. Western Propaganda keeps insisting that only China and Russia are doing it, but clearly we can see that the US is doing the exact, same thing.  

And of course they are doing the same to us now, threatening us with Sanctions if we buy the Mi-17 Hip Helicopters from Russia.
