The Philippine Navy (PN) broke ground for the construction of a 700 m^2 size, Php 12 million Hangar at Sangley Point in Cavite recently that can accommodate up to 6 Aircraft.

Two more similar Hangars are planned to be built this Year (2021). This is in preparation for the acquisition of more Aircraft like the 8 C-12 Huron from the United States (US) to be acquired within 2021.

A Joint Visual Inspection of the Aircraft in the US will be made within this Quarter (January to March 2021). Other acquisitions planned by the PN are as follows:
- Multi-Purpose Amphibious Aircraft
- Medium-Lift Helicopters
- Heavy-Lift Helicopters
- Upgrade of Naval Helicopter Weapons
- Long-Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA)

A News Report back in February 2020 said that only 1 Huron was going to be transferred to the PN, but it is certainly a big improvement now that 8 are being mentioned for transfer.

The Philippine Army (PA) was also reportedly offered by the US 5 of the Huron Aircraft.
