Philippines shouldn’t be made to choose between China and the US – Sec. Lorenzana

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said the Philippines should not be made to choose between the United States (US) and China. Lorenzana said: 

"We also have to nurture our relationship with China as a very close neighbor and we have a lot of engagement with them. We cannot choose between the two. We should not be made to choose between supporting the US or supporting China."

Apparently the Dilawans have long been pressuring the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to hate China and kiss the US’ As* like they do, despite the US abandoning us against China in Panatag Shoal back in 2012. 

Lorenzana’s Statement is similar to what most South East Asian (SEA) Countries has been saying. Singapore and Indonesia also said the same thing back in August 2020.
