Excellent point from "For the Motherland - Sass Rogando Sassot" Official Facebook Page, as had been said before, the Philippines has NO HISTORICAL CLAIMS on the Spratlys Islands. 

The only reason we are there is because former President Ferdinand Marcos was shrewd enough to realize that we could claim some of those if we occupied them. 

That’s why he ordered People to occupy some of the Features there, most of which we haven’t given up ever since. 

The Truth hurts, but it has to be said, especially with all bullshi* Propaganda that has been going around: ‘NAKIKIAGAW lang tayo sa mga Teritoryo diyan’ (We are just claiming Territories there). 

And that Area is D-I-S-P-U-T-E-D, so Technically it is not ours yet, so it is natural for the other Claimants to be there also. ‘Tapos pagdating sa Isyu ng Sabah e ang tatahimik’ (And yet when it comes to the Issue of Sabah they are all silent).
