Aside from the PCG, Masinloc Mayor also denies that Phl Fishermen are being blocked in Scarborough Shoal

The Mayor of Masinloc, Zambales denied that Chinese Vessels are blocking Philippine Fishermen from going to Scarborough Shoal (also known as Bajo de Masinloc and Panatag Shoal), contrary to what a Group of Fishermen called “Bigkis ng Mangingisda (Bundle of Fishermen)” was saying.

She said that Fishermen from her Town continue to fish in the area. She also said, “Yan po ay walang katotohanan, sila po ay lumalampas pa doon sa Scarborough at pagpapatunay na marami pong isda ngayon, kung gusto niyo po, bisitahin niyo po ang Bajo de Masinloc (That is not true, our Fishermen even goes past Scarborough and they catch a lot of Fish. If you want, you can visit Bajo de Masinloc yourself). 

Marami pong isda na sariwa ngayon sa aming bayan. Makikita niyo po na wala naman pong namemerwisyo at humaharang sila sa ngayon. Ngayon, mageeleksyon nanaman, nirerefresh lang nila yung dating issue na 2018 pa po yan (Our Town has a lot of fresh Fish that has been caught. Nobody is blocking our Fishermen. Because of the coming Elections, they are just recycling the Issues from back in 2018). 

Sana naman po wag naman po silang manira. Dahil ang suporta po ng national government ay binibigay po sa mga mangingisda dito sa aming lugar (I hope they don’t resort to mudslinging because the Government gives a lot of support to our Town).”

‘PCG’

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has also denied the allegations of the Bigkis ng Mangingisda group, saying basically the same thing that Philippine Fishermen are not being blocked in the area. 

The PCG has been regularly patrolling Scarborough Shoal with 4 of their Vessels recently.

If you look at the Map, Masinloc is one of the Municipalities that is nearest Scarborough Shoal, so if China was really blocking the area, the Fishermen there would feel it. 

I couldn’t find much details in the internet about this Bigkis ng Mangingisda Group, but I think the manipulation and propaganda is quite obvious. They report first to the Press instead of the Government, during the Anniversary of the UTTERLY USELESS 2016 Arbitral Ruling? 

Just another lame Propaganda attempt against President Rodrigo Duterte and China, likely from the Americans and their Filipino Dogs.
