The "Significant Accomplishments" of the ADC from their 2021 Symposium Brochure |
I’m wondering why the Air Defense Command (ADC) of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) has put the “Delivery and Acceptance of the SpyDer System” as one of their “Significant Accomplishments” in their Brochure at the 2021 PAF Symposium Virtual Exhibit.
The Cambridge Dictionary defines an Accomplishment as, “… something done or finished successfully”, so it should be something that has already been done in the past and not something that could happen in the future.
If so, then does this mean that the delivery of the SpyDer Surface to Air Missile (SAM) System has started already?
In December 2020, the Business Mirror Publication reported that, "... The Air Force also took deliveries of Air Defense Missiles to protect its 5 Radar Sites ...”.
In May 2021 the Department of National Defense (DND) said that the delivery of the SpyDer Systems will be, “… by December” of this Year (2021).
