Here are News Reports and some of my thoughts on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War:

* Philippines most affected by the Russia-Ukraine War
The Japan-based Global Investment Firm Nomura expects the Philippines along with India and Thailand to be among Countries which will be most affected by in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War because of the resulting increase in Food and Oil Prices

* Russia being cut off from the SWIFT Banking System
The West is now banning Russia from the SWIFT Banking System, which would make it more difficult to do business with Russia by other Countries. 

I think Russia has its own Banking System that can be used, but switching to it is not as easy, and adopting it will be opposed by the Western Countries. 

I think that with these Sanctions in place, it will only drive Vladimir Putin to do more than just go after Ukraine. Think about it, if you were Putin, what would you do? 

Stopping with Ukraine won't make much of a difference, might as well then go after some other Countries with more resources also.

* Russian Flights banned, Russia retaliates by banning Flights also
So many Sanctions against Russia now in place, like this, Countries banning Flights to and from Russia. Russia has responded in kind to the bans by banning flights to and from those Countries also.

 
I think that rather than see Economic Hardships brought about by these bans, Russia could just continue elsewhere after taking over Ukraine. What's the use of staying put, the Sanctions are in place already.

* The Ukrainian Reaper
Another Urban Legend that has come out of this Russia-Ukraine War after "The Ghost of Kyiv" is "The Ukrainian Reaper", a Sniper this time who has reportedly already killed 20 Russian Soldiers in just 2 Days. His Name is supposed to be Volodymyr Vist

* Ukrainian Border Guards on Snake Island may still be alive
After hyping to the World that the Ukrainian Border Guards at the Snake Island or Zmiinyi Island were all killed, Ukrainian Authorities are now saying that those Guards might actually have survived the attack on the Island

* Ukraine giving strong resistance against Russia
Admittedly, I think things aren't going as well in terms of Russia's advance into Ukraine as of now. They entered the Ukrainian Capital of Kiev around two Days ago, and yet it still hasn't fallen. 

Considering that they are a Superpower, I was hoping the City would've fallen by now, but no. The longer Kiev resists, the bigger the morale boost it will be for the Ukrainians, and vice versa, the more demoralizing it is for Russia. 

Of course, the use of one or so of Russia's 6,000+ Nuclear Weapons would've done the job by now, but that is not in the Cards ... yet, as of now ...

* Russia in Belarus for Negotiations
After two Days of entering Kiev and no News about Negotiations, a Russian Delegation is now suddenly in Belarus to start negotiations with Ukraine. 

Not a good sign IMHO for Russia's Military Prestige if the War ends and they are not able to take Kiev.

* Ukraine reject Peace Talks in Belarus, wants it done elsewhere
Ukraine has just rejected Russia's offer of Peace Talks in Belarus because some of the Troops which attacked Ukraine came from that Country, but is open to do it elsewhere. 

Because they were able to stop Russia's attack on Kiev so far, they can afford to be choosy. 

I think Vladimir Putin wants to end the War now because then he can say that even if they weren't able to take Kiev, it was only a couple of Days. He could say that had the War lasted longer, they would've taken Kiev.

* Infantry Missiles making a Big Difference?
From the Videos I have seen on Social Media, it seems a lot of Russian Vehicles really has been destroyed by Ukrainian Forces. 

From the looks of it, the Infantry Anti-Tank and Anti-Air Missiles are making a big difference, even against a Superpower like Russia. Something for our AFP to take note of. 

Misel na talaga ang labanan, and Infantry Missiles are very mobile, difficult to spot since they are compact and can easily hide.
