December 14, 2022: The Bayraktar Kizilelma (Red Apple) Stealth Unmanned Fighter Drone made by the Turkish Company Baykar recently made its successful Maiden Flight. I can’t find any references about its projected Price, hopefully it will be affordable. Since it is unmanned, I expect it to be able to do more than 9Gs in terms of Maneuvers, and that its Interception and Dogfighting Maneuvers will likely be supplemented by Artificial Intelligence (AI). I think Fighter Pilots would hate these as it will be taking over their Jobs, but then again at least they won’t have to expose themselves to as much danger anymore
December 9, 2022: Just interesting that the Vietnamese Company RT Robotics has come up with a Militarized Version of their Commercially available “Hera" Drone, with it capable of carrying up to nine Grenade rounds (though they look more like Mortar rounds to me). According to their Website, the Hera has the maximum Range of 11 km and has 360 degree Obstacle Avoidance which would make it relatively easier to fly

December 9, 2022: Japan is reportedly planning to merge their next F-X Fighter Program to the Tempest Fighter Program of the United Kingdom (UK) and Italy. Both the F-X and Tempest are planned to start making their first Flights in the mid 2020s and start entering Service some time in the 2030s
December 6, 2022: The United States (US) Army has chosen the V-280 Valor Tilt Rotor Aircraft to replace their UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters. The latest Batch of S-70i Black Hawk Helicopters we bought have yet to be delivered but the Americans are already replacing theirs, LOL. The phasing out of the Black Hawks won’t happen soon though, as the Valor is scheduled to only start entering US Army Service by around 2030
November 29, 2022: South Korea has just approved the Mass Production of their Light Attack Helicopter (LAH), which is scheduled to start soon and run until 2031. The Helicopter is intended to replace South Korea’s MD-500MD and AH-1S Cobra Helicopters. The LAH is equipped with a 20 mm caliber three barreled Gatling Gun at its Nose and two Pylons for various Weapons and Equipment
November 21, 2022: The Turkish Company Baykar has just started the Ground Tests of its new Bayraktar Kizilelma Unmanned Stealth Fighter Drone. Baykar also makes the now famous and Combat-proven Bayraktar TB2 Drone. The Kizilelma (which means “Red Apple” in Turkish) is expected to make its first Flight soon. So the World is now entering the Age of Unmanned Fighter Drones, but we still have yet to get our manned Multi-Role Fighter (MRF), LOL. Well, it is what it is ...
September 21, 2022: The Houthi Rebels in Yemen held a Military Parade recently, and it is just a bit humbling that a Political and Armed Group in Yemen like them has, in some respects, better firepower than our own Armed Forces. And not only that, they made these Missiles themselves. But they did so with a lot of funding and Technical help from other Countries like Iran and North Korea
August 30, 2022: Here is an interesting, low-cost System that can add Guided Missile Capability to Vehicles like Pick Up Trucks called the Vehicle-Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment (VAMPIRE). These are being sold as Kits and its Missiles can be used against both Land and Air Targets

August 23, 2022: A new Attack Helicopter made by Italy just recently made its first Flight, it is called the AW249. It uses American designed/made Engines though, and still only uses a 20 mm Gun. The Helicopter is intended to replace the A129 Mangusta (which our T129B ATAK Helicopter is based on) in the Italian Armed Forces
June 26, 2022: The Israeli Company Camero-Tech is now marketing their new Xaver 1000 System which allows it to see thru Walls using Radar and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This would be very useful during Urban Operations by Military and Law Enforcement Units
June 17, 2022: The German Company Rheinmetall has come up with a Shoulder-fired, Magazine-fed Automatic Grenade Launcher called the Squad Support Weapon 40 (SSW40) which uses 4 to 10 round Magazines
