May 25, 2023: After US REJECTS Philippines FTA request, BBM now begging for it from the EU
So after the United States (US) REJECTED Bong Bong Marcos’ (BBM) request for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with them after he had already given them nine Military Bases thru the Enhanced Defense Cooperation for America :D (EDCA), BBM is now begging the European Union (EU) to give him an FTA instead.
I am not even sure how receptive the EU is in Terms of giving the Philippines an FTA, it seems that all the effort is coming only from the Philippines’ side at this Point. And even if the EU does give us an FTA, it is likely going to include a LOT of Strings attached as the Europeans think that any Deals with them includes the Condition that the Country should be their Puppets as well
April 11, 2023: EU Leaders agree with Macron on more Autonomy from the US, says the President of the European Council
The President of the European Council (the Collegiate Body that defines the overall Political Directions and Priorities of the European Union) Charles Michel that Leaders of the European Union (EU) agree with what French President Emmanuel Macron said about moving away from the United States (US).
Quoting from the Article itself: “On the issue of the relationship with the United States, it's clear that there can be nuances and sensitivities around the Table of the European Council. Some European leaders wouldn't say things the same way that Emmanuel Macron did ... I think quite a few really think like Emmanuel Macron”

April 9, 2023: The Headline says it all: “Europe must resist pressure to become ‘America’s Followers,’ says Macron”
French President Emmanuel Macron again reiterated his Stance of going “Full China” when he said that Europe shouldn’t just be a Follower of the United States (US) and that it shouldn’t be involved in a War over Taiwan. Quoting from the Article, “Europe must reduce its dependency on the United States and avoid getting dragged into a confrontation between China and the U.S. over Taiwan, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an Interview on his Plane back from a three-Day State Visit to China.” Rafale Fighter Aircraft and Scorpene-class Submarines, anyone? Makes me wonder though what the “Amboys” (America’s Boys) think about France now

It looks like French President Emmanuel Macron is intent on having closer relations with China as he praised both Countries’ Relations recently on Social Media during his State Visit there. Relations between France and the United States (US) have become strained after the Biden Administration shamelessly broke France’s Submarine deal with Australia to replace it with their own
March 29, 2023: The Price of dealing with the EU: Constant Interference and Strings Attached as they are now demanding again the release of De Lima
This is the Price that every Country has to pay when dealing with the European Union (EU), and that is the CONSTANT Interference with a Country’s Affairs. They are always looking to see which Strings they can attach to you, and always want you to behave the way they want you to.
And now they are again demanding, not just “asking”, but DEMANDING for the release of Leila De Lima. I think it will happen given the Pro-West leaning of the Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) Administration, I think it will happen before Biden steps down from Office in 2024
You don’t see China or Russia doing the same unless their Citizens are directly affected, that is why the World is slowly shifting away from the West and to them
