China GIVES another Bridge to Philippines, the Php 3.126 billion Bucana Bridge in Davao

This comes as a bit of a surprise for me since the current Administration of Bobong Bong Marcos (BBM) is Anti-China and Pro-United States (US), but it is good that China nonetheless has decided to go forward with the construction of the “Davao River Bridge” or the “Bucana Bridge”. 

This happened when the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently signed a Contract with the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) for its construction. 

The Bridge is an important Part of the current Phase of the Davao Coastal Road Project, and is worth around Php 3.126 billion or Usd 56 million assuming an Exchange Rate of Php 55.87 per Dollar. The Bridge will have four Lanes and a total Length of 1.34 km. 

Note that this will go thru the “China Aid" GRANT, meaning it is for FREE, China is DONATING this to the Philippines. This will be the THIRD Bridge they are donating to us, I am listing them all below with their approximate Price Tags: 

* Davao River Bridge or Bucana Bridge, Php 3.126 billion (Usd 56 million)

* Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge, Php 1.46 billion (Usd 29.2 million)

* Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, Php 3.39 billion (Usd 65.2 million)

* Total for the three Bridges, Php 7.98 billion (Usd 150 million)

Can you imagine that? Php 8 billion or Php 150 million worth of Bridges, for free. It is ironic that while Bobong Bong gave the US so many Military Bases under the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA), it is in fact China who has ended up giving more USEFUL Things to the Philippines. 

These Bridges are BRAND NEW, MODERN and any Filipinos can use them, tens of thousands of Filipinos will benefit them each and every single day. 

‘Parting Shot’

I am sure that Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (FPRRD) and Vice President Sara Duterte will be very happy with this Project, if I were China I would help Davao City even more as thanks to Digong’s friendly ties with them when he was still President. 

Davao can also be an example of China’s graciousness towards its Friends, and help Filipinos see how pathetic their Relations with the US is.
