February 7, 2024: Cagayan Provincial Office Employees start to learn Mandarin
Some Employees of Cagayan's Provincial Capitol Office has recently started taking a Course to learn Mandarin thru the Cagayan Provincial Learning and Resource Center (CPLRC). The Course will run for around three Weeks and is taught by Weiwei Song from the Xiamen University in China

Xiamn University is one of the top Universities in Southern China with a Student Population of 45,000. This Language Learning Initiative is in line with the Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba's Vision of attracting more Tourists and Businesses from China to help improve the Economic Situation of his Province.

February 5, 2024: The Governor of Cagayan Manuel Mamba visited China recently to attend the 2024 Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN)-China People to People Exchange Summit during the ASEAN-China Spring Festival 2024

While there, Gov. Mamba is promoting his Province as a "Tropical Paradise" for Chinese Tourists, and is there to learn also on how China became an Economic Miracle and transfer that Knowledge to benefit his Province.

December 21, 2023: Big Time Chinese Business Persons visits Cagayan for possible Investments there 
A Group of big-time Business Persons from the Province of Zhejiang in China visited the Province of Cagayan recently to explore possible Business Investment Opportunities there, particularly the proposed International Sea and Air Ports in Aparri and Piat

The Group was led by Ms. Vivian Zhang who is the President of a Business Group in China with over 100,000 Members, and Mr. Chen Yan at his Wife Mrs. Xhen ZhenCui who owns a Business Chain of Cake and Coffee Shops with over 200 Branches in China.

The Local Government Officials of Cagayan also unveiled to the Group Governor Manuel Mamba's Vision of not only establishing an International Seaport in Aparri and International Airport in Piat, but also a Smart City in Tuao and a Heavy Industrial Park. 

Well here’s hoping that these Plans by Cagayan will indeed push thru with China, and that the United States (US) and their Filipino Doggies will not SABOTAGE these Plans again like they did with China’s funding of the Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) and Fuga Island

December 18, 2023: CPAFFC Group visited Cagayan to explore Avenues of Cooperation between tbe Province and China
A Group called the "Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC)" led by Ambassador Yan Wanming visited the Province of Cagayan recently with Goal of helping uplift the Social Economic Status of the Province. 

They were met by the Local Government Unit (LGU) Officials of the Province led by Governor Manuel Mamba. The CPAFFC promised to find "Sister City" Links in China for Cities in Cagayan, as well as help Scientists from the Province get Scholarships and Training in China in the Field of Aqua Culture Fishing. 

Gov. Mamba and Amb. Yanming also later met in Manila to discuss further cooperation between Cagayan and China in the Fields of Agriculture, Aquaculture, Livestock and Tourism, and to discuss futher the planned opening of the Port of Aparri
