Malaysia is targeting up to 7 million Tourists from China this Year while Vietnam and China has agreed to have more Joint Coast Guard Patrols per Year, and Vietnam’s Prime Minister just ordered his Government to cooperate and find ways to improve their Land Connectivity with China; also Thailand said China is interested in funding a Land Bridge that will go across their Country, and finally Indonesia said that they will enhance cooperation with China in the Field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in this Edition of the rest of SEA’s Relations with China Series - “Positive News about the Rest of South East Asia’s Relations with China, February 9, 2024

* February 1, 2024: The Government of Malaysia is targeting to get between 5 to 7 million Tourists from China this Year of 2024 by increasing the Airline Flights between the two Countries from the current twice a Week to four times a Week, and by tapping Travel Agencies and Airlines to promote Malaysia in China as a top Tourist Destination: https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2024/02/01/tourism-malaysia-eyeing-over-five-million-tourists-from-china-in-2024

* February 2, 2024: The Coast Guards of Vietnam and China agreed during a recent online Meeting to conduct Joint Patrols every Quarter of the Year in the Waters adjacent to the Delimitation Line in the Gulf of Tonkin to prevent Crimes and Violations. * February 3, 2024: Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin announced recently that China thru their Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is interested in funding the proposed Land Bridge in his Country that will connect the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. * February 6, 2024: The Deputy Minister of the Communication and Information Ministry of Indonesia Nezar Patria said that they are going to enhance their cooperation with China to develop their Country's National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ecosystem. * February 7, 2024: The Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh has just ordered his Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with China on how to increase their Railway and Road Capacities so they can export more Agricultural and Seafood Products to there and also to minimize Transportation Costs and Time.
