Hundreds of Transactions were made and hundreds of Businesses attended a Trade Fair for Vietnam and China; The first official Freight Train Service between Thailand and China has started, allowing Thai Goods to reach Destinations as far as Europe; Malaysia said that China will be one of their Role Models for Economic Development, and are optimizing their Airline connectivity with China; and Four Chinese Companies expressed their intention to produce Electric Vehicles (EV) in Indonesia in this Edition of the rest of SEA’s Relations with China Series - “Positive News about the Rest of South East Asia’s Relations with China, Januar 25, 2024

* November 19, 2023: More than 600 Transactions, 89 Agreements and 22 Contracts were signed during the six-Day Vietnam-China International Trade Fair that was held in the Lao Cai Province of Vietnam recently. The Event had over 500 Booths from over 300 Businesses from eight Chinese Cities and Provinces and 50 Vietnamese Localities. * November 23, 2023: The first official Freight Train Service from Thailand to China has started, and will enable Thai Agricultural Products to eventually reach Destinations in Europe like Poland, Belgium and Germany. * December 21, 2023: The Deputy Minister of Indonesia's "Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment" Rachmat Kaimuddin recently announced that four Chinese Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufacturers have expressed their intention to start Production in Indonesia. He only named one of them, though, which is Wuling Motor Holdings, Limited. * January 11, 2024: Malaysia is going to "Optimise" its Connectivity by enhancing its Direct, Transit and Chartered Flights to China, this according to Malaysia's Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing recently. This means increasing the Number of these Types of Flights as much as possible.
