A Reminder of how the US committed Genocide in the Philippines in the early 1900s

@chrisdier On this day in history (2/4), the Philippine-American War started in 1899, which led to a deadly genocide waged by the US. #fyp #foryoupage #philippineamericanwar #philippines #filipino #filipinohistory #history #ushistory #teachersoftiktok ♬ original sound - Chris

Here is a Video reminding everybody of how the United States (US) committed Genocide against Filipinos that started during the Battle of Balangiga in Samar back in 1901 and lasted for about a Year until 1902 in which around 250,000 Filipinos were killed by the Americans.

Atrocities like these are conveniently forgotten and covered up thanks to the Propaganda Efforts of the US and their Filipino Collaborator Doggies, choosing to constantly commemorate instead only supposedly “Positive” Relations between the US and the Philippines like “Bataan” in World War Two (WW2), for Example, or the Korean War in the 1950s.

Ordinary Filipinos suffered greatly during the early Years of the US occupation of the Philippines while the rich, Elite Families collaborated with the Americans against their fellow Filipinos:

Many don't know that the United States committed Genocide when the Country invaded the Philippines in 1899. Filipinos resisted this Invasion. One Town fought back after US Soldiers sexually assaulted a young Woman. The Town rang its Church Bells to signal the surprise attack. The US defeat shocked the American Public and News spread all across the US.

The US took revenge. Troops were instructed to kill Everyone over 10 years old. Pause to read the Orders from one General. The US continued as Scorched Earth Policy until 1902, leading to over 250,000 Filipino Casualties. Survivors were given Identification Papers and forced into Concentration Camps. The US did not give the Philippines its freedom until after World War two.

During the Genocide, the US took the Bells used to signal the attack back to the US as Trophies. The US just gave them back in 2018. Were you taught about this Genocide in your History Classes?
