Good News for the People of the Philippines as the Bridge Project that China is donating to the City of Davao has started construction already as per the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The Total Project Cost of this Bridge is actually Php 4.304 billion, or approximately Usd 76.5 million assuming an Exchange Rate of Php 56.72 for every one United States (US) Dollar. However, a vast majority of that cost is being donated or granted by China to the Philippines to the tune of Php 3.126 billion or Usd 55 million.
The Project is known as the "Davao River Bridge" or "Bucana Bridge" and now reportedly 8% complete. It is scheduled to be completed in 24 Months, or to be opened by the first Quarter of 2026.
The Bridge will have a total Length of 1.34 km long, will have four Lanes and capable of handling up to 34,000 Vehicles per Day and is a major Part of the Davao City Coastal Bypass Project.
The Construction is being done by the "China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC)" and a majority or 83% of the Workers will be Filipinos.
Note that this is another piece of News that the corrupt and shameless Philippine Main Stream Media (MSM) tried to bury with a News Blackout on since they are controlled by the Oligarchs and thus are Pro-US and Anti-China.
Only very few reported about it like the DPWH Page, and even they almost didn't mention that this is majority donated by China. And just ask yourselves, how many Bridges or Infrastructure Projects has the US given to the Philippines lately? Absolutely none.
Anyway, great to see China finally gifting a major Infrastructure Project to Davao, I hope to see them give or support more in the near Future.
