Just Days after Philippine President Bong Bong Marcos (PBBM) mentioned the possibility of War with China, the Chinese News Media released Footages of a Philippine Soldier onboard the BRP Sierra Madre (LT-57) pointing his Firearm at the China Coast Guard (CCG) Vessels and Personnel.
PBBM said during the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue Summit that a CCG Water Cannon killing a Filipino Personnel would be, “very close to an Act of War”. In an apparent response, Chinese Media later released the Videos, upon closer inspection of which shows at least one Filipino Soldier onboard the BRP Madre pointing his Firearm at the Chinese Troops.
The BRP Madre was beached at the Second Thomas Shoal twenty five Years ago in 1999, and since then a constant rotation of Soldiers have been stationed there. These recent Events are just the latest in the continuing escalation of Tensions between the PBBM Government and that of China.
If such escalations continue, it is very likely that it will eventually result into violence later on, and when that happens, then the PBBM Administration may, at the very least, end up declaring Martial Law in the Philippines.
The Oligarchs and the Philippine Press which had for Decades been so much against the Dictatorship Regime of Ferdinand Marcos Sr., now ironically seems to be agreeable if his Son PBBM also declares the same as he is in line with their current Anti-China, Pro-United States (US) Advocacy.
