October 14, 2025: My J-10 Vigorous Dragon Fighter Aircraft on MetalStorm with a new Camouflage Paint Job and AFP Roundel
Just showing off my J-10 Menglong (Vigorous Dragon) Fighter Aircraft on the MetalStorm Fighter Aircraft Game with its new Paint Job, I think this is based on the ones that were sold to Pakistan. It also has the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Roundel as it exists hopefully in an alternate Universe where our Country has better Sense and is more progressive as it is allied with China.
The J-10 is now Combat-proven, and has managed to even shoot down at least one Rafale Aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) earlier this Year of 2025.
May 1, 2025: I finally got China’s J-10 Vigorous Dragon Aircraft in the “MetalStorm” Game, decorated it with the Philippine Air Force Roundel
Some Good News, first of all I was finally able to get the Chinese-made J-10 Menglong or Vigorous Dragon Fighter Aircraft the “MetalStorm” Video Game. Second, at about the same time, I was also able to collect enough Gold Credits to finally unlock or buy the Philippine Air Force (PAF) Roundel in the Game.
And the Result is what you see now, which is the J-10 with the PAF Roundel. I’d like to believe that this actually exists in an Alternate Reality where the Philippines is closely allied with China instead of the United States (US), and as a result is as progressive as our other South East Asian (SEA) Neighbors who are also closely allied with China.
China therefore gave us a good Deal for at least a Squadron of these J-10s at a Price that is much more reasonable than what the US is selling us in this Reality.
In the MetalStorm Game, the J-10 is a pretty good Aircraft, with good Agility and high Turn Rate. The only Issue with it is that I cannot really fully use its special “Look and Shoot” short-range Missiles that allow it to be locked at up to 80 degrees from the Direction of the Aircraft.
I am still trying to figure out how to use it best, so I am not able to optimize its Ability. But as it is, it is a pretty good Aircraft to have in the Game with four short-range Missiles and two medium-range Missiles.
March 5, 2025: Showing my non-standard Paint Schemes from the Metalstorm Shop for the Mirage III and Mig-23 Aircraft
Just “flexing” two of my Favorite “rides” on Metalstorm, which is why I bought them non-Standard Paint Schemes in the first Place, the Mirage III in Blue and White Colors and the Mig-23 in disruptive Blue-White-Gray Camouflage Pattern ... :D
I love “flying” these two Aircraft, but at higher Levels against better Aircraft and Pilots, they do get beaten quite a bit, which is expected as the Mirage III is a 1960s era Plane while the Mig-23 is 1970s Era. However, the F-4E Phantom II seems to be an Exception, although I want to play it more at higher Levels before I make my Judgment.
So far some of my “Dogfights” with the F-4E at mid-Levels have been pretty intense ... the speed, the maneuverability ... It is proving in the Game why it is one of the Classic and longest-serving Aircraft of the World ...

February 25, 2025: China/Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder to be available soon on the Metalstorm Fighter Plane Video Game
The Chinese and Pakistani developed JF-17 Thunder Fighter Aircraft will very soon be available on the Metalstorm Fighter Plane Video Game, and I am looking forward to “flying” it in there. Based on the Picture, it seems it will be armed with two short-range Missiles and two medium-range Missiles.
The JF-17 is a Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) just like the FA-50PH Fighting Eagle Aircraft being used by the Philippine Air Force (PAF) right now. Makes me wonder though why the FA-50 is not in the Game, especially since it is somehow connected to the Aerospace Manufacturer “Lockheed Martin (LM)” as I’ve read somewhere.
LM helped develop the FA-50 with South Korea. Other notable Aircraft that are not in the Game yet are of course the JAS-39 Gripen and Rafale. It’s possible though that these will be made available in the Game in the Future.

February 24, 2025: Philippine Military Aircraft Roundel available on the Metalstorm Fighter Plane Video Game
I just discovered that the Roundel used on Philippine Military Aircraft is available on the Metalstorm Fighter Plane Video Game. A “Roundel” is a National Insignia used on Military Aircraft. In the Case of the Philippine Roundel, it is available both as Nose and Wing Decal.
The Nose Decal is a bit more difficult to acquire since it is only available during Special Events, while the Wing Decal is available but cost quite a bit, equivalent to 249 Gold Coins, which is approximately around Php 720, which is a bit expensive for me just for a Game.
But I am saving Gold Coins by buying them when the Gold Coins are on Sale, because I plan to put it later on the Chinese-made J-10 Firebird Fighter Aircraft which I intend to get and is available in the further or higher Levels. I think that would be cool to do that, if only in a Video Game, LOL.
By the Way, I think the Name “Firebird” they use for the J-10 in this Game is more of a Western Name, as far as I know, the J-10 is still known as “Menglong” or “Vigorous Dragon” in China, who of course made the Aircraft.

February 18, 2025: My Review of the “Metalstorm” Fighter Plane Video Game, it is outstanding, a Must-Play for me
I have been playing the “Metalstorm” Fighter Plane Video Game for around a Month now, and it is amazing, I think a Must-Play Game especially for frustrated Fighter Pilots like me. You start off with an F-5 Freedom Fighter, and then work your Way up to other, more advanced Aircraft.
There are In-App Purchases, and you can spend Money to quickly get more Aircraft and Upgrades sooner, but it is going to be quite expensive. I recommend using a Tablet to play it like I do using my Android Tablet as the wider Screen will help you see the Things that are around you and play the Game better.
I also recommend watching Tutorials or Tips and Tricks Videos about the Game on YouTube, there are a number of them, it will help you a lot improve your “Piloting” Skills.
I consider myself to be an Above-Average “Pilot” in the Game, but I suspect a lot of Active and Retired Fighter Pilots also play the Game as there are Accounts who fly “Weak” Planes like the F-5 and A-6 Intruder, and yet don’t get shot down as much, and even Top the Games.
I wonder how they do it, probably because of their Air Combat Maneuver (ACM) Training that allows them to be just so good. One of the Pictures I posted by the Way shows one of my Favorite Aircraft among those I have currently acquired and “flown”, the F-106 Delta Dart.
This is an old Aircraft which first entered Service in the 1960s, and in the Game it has Medium Range Missiles and is a very stable Cannon Platform, and its Gun can be easily pointed at Enemy Aircraft during Dogfights.
Anyway, again, I highly recommend the Game, and see you there. Who knows, I might be one who will be shooting you down, LOL. Lastly, I think this Game will help you become a better Drone Pilot, which is important as our Country is now headed to be the next “Ukraine”, the next Battleground Sacrificial Lamb of the West against its Enemies, LOL.
