May 4, 2026: Thailand hit record-high Usd 42 billion in Foreign Investments in 2025, with Investments from Google, Amazon, Microsoft, BYD, etc.
The Board of Investment of Thailand last Year of 2025 recorded a 60 Year high of Usd 42 billion of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Applications, which included some of the biggest American and Chinese Companies.

These Companies are the following:
* Amazon, which committed Usd 5 billion to build a "Cloud Region", or a Regional-based Data Center/s in Thailand

* Microsoft, which will invest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Regions
* ByteDance, which will turn Thailand into their Data Hub for the South East Asian Region
* BYD, Great Wall Motor and Changan are investing heavily in Thailand's Automotive Manufacturing Industry

That Usd 42 billion in FDIs is more than five times what the Philippines got last Year, which was only at around Usd 7.8 billion.

April 20, 2026: Thailand now using AI Cameras mounted on Vehicles to scan and catch Law Breakers
The Thai Police is now using Cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) mounted on Vehicles to rove around and catch Law Breakers. One recent Example was when they used a "Duantaphikat On Mobile" or "Deadly Eye Mobile" Vehicle to patrol the Beaches in Pattaya

The System was able to identify an Indian National who had been overstaying in the Country for one and a half Months, and he was immediately arrested and deported back to India.

April 17, 2026: Isuzu invests Usd 468 million to introduce Automation, New Technologies and Solar Panels at their Thailand Plant
The Thai Government just approved a new Usd 468 million Investment by the Japanese Automobile Manufacturer Isuzu Motors to upgrade their Manufacturing Plant in Thailand

The upgrade will include providing Automation in Processes like Chassis and Body Welding, Assembly and Painting, and Final Vehicle Assembly. New Technologies will also be introduced in order for their Vehicles to meet the latest European Emission Standards, and Solar Panels will be introduced to help save on Electricity Costs.

Isuzu is the second largest Manufacturer of Vehicles in Thailand, with the first being Toyota. A total of 172,000 Vehicles were produced by Isuzu Thailand last Year of 2025.

August 28, 2025: As Philippines drowns in Floods of Corruption, Thailand goes ahead with Usd 31 billion Land Bridge connecting their Coasts
The Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) of Thailand has just approved their Land Bridge Project that will connect the opposite Shores of their Country.

This Critical Infrastructure will connect the Andaman Sea in the West and the Gulf of Thailand in the East, thus bypassing the need for Goods to pass through the Singapore Strait and thus saving a lot of Time and Money.

Initially the Plan was to do the connection thru a Canal, but ultimately Thailand decided on a Land Bridge instead. The Bridge will be composed of two Ports on each Side that will be connected by an 89 km Transport System which in turn will consist of a six-lane Highway and a Train System.

This is less efficient than a Canal, but will cost less and take less time to build. Construction is set to start next Year in 2026, and will cost around Usd 31 billion. It is estimated to have a 17% return on Investment and generate 280,000 Jobs.

MY THOUGHTS:
You have to hand it to these Buddhists (Thailand is around 90% Buddhists), they really know how to get Things done to improve the Lives of their People. No wonder why Thailand is so very far ahead of us now.

They already have so many major Infrastructure Projects, they have been extending their Train Lines almost non-stop in the last Decade and have completed a Coastal Highway on (I think) their Eastern Coast. And yet they still continue to more and more major Infra Projects.

Meanwhile us here in the Majority Christian Philippines are currently drowning in Floods of Corruption related to Flood Control Projects worth more than a trillion Pesos under the Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM).

Moralizing, overly Religious Filipinos will say that Thailand is an Immoral and Disorderly Country because of the Prostitution and rowdy Foreigners there, but as long as Prostitution is voluntary and it is not White Slavery then it shouldn’t be a Problem.

As for the disorderly Foreigners, that makes up only a small percentage of Foreigners, a vast Majority are orderly and bring a lot of Money into their Country. And again, if it is such a bad Place, why are there much less Poor People there, and why do their Citizens have a much better Quality of Life than ours?

January 4, 2025: Thailand offers Boats, Drones and Armored Vehicles to the AFP
The Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines Tull Traisorat recently met with Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. in Camp Aguinaldo where he relayed his Country's offer of Offshore Boats, Drones and Armored Vehicles to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)

Looking at the Thai Armed Forces Equipment, they do make and use the U1 Drone as well as different Models of Armored Vehicles. They also make their own Landing Ship Tanks (LST) Vessels, Corvettes and Patrol Boats.

However, as those of you know from my previous Posts, like all of the other Countries in South East Asia (SEA), Thailand is a very close Ally of China, so I am not sure if this Pro-United States (US), Anti-China Administration of Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) will factor that in when buying their Military Equipment.
