Indonesia, Singapore steer clear of US-China dispute in Pompeo’s South China Sea outreach

This is a piece of News that most of the Philippine Press has been intentionally and desperately hiding from the Philippines and which you will only see on Social Media. 

A quick Google search shows not a single one of the Philippines’ News Organizations published it locally because it destroys their carefully built narrative against China. 

So the United States (US) Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called both Singapore and Indonesia to seek support for the US’ firmer stance against China, but both Countries refused to give it to him as they wanted to remain “Neutral” in the dispute. 

PN Modernization Projects delayed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Some sad news, the Philippine Navy (PN) said that a number of their Modernization Projects have been delayed due to the ongoing Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic. The delays are as follows: 

* Instead of October of this year (2020), the delivery of the BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) Frigate has been pushed out to the First Quarter of 2021.

This certain Dilawan – American As* Kisser – Fake Nationalist Defense Page again made a blanket declaration of how other “Pages” are supposedly spreading Fake News about his page. 

Blanket Statements like that end up putting pages like mine under scrutiny for Fake News, likely intentionally. And the post they are referring to isn’t even a “Page”, it is on a CLOSED GROUP run by Johnny Mercury. 

Supposed Ally the US issues Warning discouraging its Citizens from traveling to the Philippines - August 7, 2020

Our supposed ally the United States (US) has just issued a Warning discouraging its Citizens from traveling to the Philippines because of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic and supposedly other issues also like Crime, Terrorism, Civil Unrest, a Measles Outbreak and Rampant Kidnapping.

The Covid-19 Warning came from the US Center for Disease Control and prevention (CDC) and is a Level 3 Threat Health Notice and was endorsed by the US State Department. 

Hopefully China or Russia will not do anything the same also to the Philippines.

Philippines surpassed Japan, matched South Korea in terms of Covid-19 Tests

It turns out that the Philippines has not only surpassed Singapore or any of the other South East Asian (SEA) Countries in terms of Tests for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), but also Japan. And we have also now matched the tests of South Korea. 

Data from the Our World in Data Website shows that the Philippines has already made 1.59 million  Covid-19 Tests while Japan only made 1.21 million Tests.

The Sultanate of Sulu released a Statement asserting the Philippines’ Claim on Sabah

In light of the recent exchange of Tweets recently between the Foreign Affairs Secretaries of Malaysia and the Philippines, the Sultanate of Sulu has released a Statement asserting the Philippines’ claims on Sabah. 

Among the highlights of the Statement were: 

- The Sultanate wrote that “the people of Sulu have lived on these islands for 600 years and will continue to do so in the centuries to come”; 

Hensoldt Press Release on Radars and IFF Interrogator Delivery to the BRP Jose Rizal

The United Kingdom (UK) Company Hensoldt has released a Press Release about the delivery of their TRS-3D Radar, Sharpeye Mk II Radar and MSSR 2000 I Identification-Friend-or-Foe (IFF) Interrogator on the BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150) Frigate of the Philippine Navy (PN). 

They will also deliver the same Systems to the BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) Frigate.
