May 20, 2022: The Philippine-made Weapons System called Project Building a Universal mount for Heavy-barrel Automated Weapon Integration or BUHAWI that was developed by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) has passed its Sea Trials with the BRP Heracleo Alano (PC-376) Vessel of the Philippine Navy (PN) and has been installed on the Ship. Here is a Video by the PN on the Project's History, Development and recent Sea Trials

May 19, 2022: The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC) is turning over their Project Building a Universal mount for Heavy-barrel Automated Weapon Integration (BUHAWI) to the Philippine Navy (PN) tomorrow, Friday, May 20, 2022 at 9:00 am thru a Ceremony. May 13, 2022: The Bureau of Customs (BoC) in Davao City recently launched two brand new Fast Patrol Boats (FPB) that will strengthen Maritime Surveillance of its Areas of Responsibility. Each Boat can go up to 55-74 kph, can carry up to 10 Passengers, has a Gun Mount and Hard Shields on both Sides

Weird Coincidence between the UP Maroons Basketball Team and the Marcoses

Such a weird coincidence. In 1986, the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons Basketball Team won a Championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) with Benjie Paras and Ronnie Magsanoc. That was the same Year also that Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was removed from Power as President of the Philippines. 

36 Years later this Year in 2022, they win again another Championship with Ricci Rivero and Carl Tamayo, and this is also the Year that Ferdinand Marcos Jr. or Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) got elected as President of the Philippines.

BBM invites Biden to his Inauguration, features Chinese Ambassador on Facebook Page

The next President of the Republic of the Philippines Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) has invited the President of the United States (US) Joe Biden to his inauguration when the latter called him up to congratulate him on winning the Elections. 

China had also earlier congratulated BBM, but there was no news of him inviting Chinese President Xi Jinping to his inauguration also. However, BBM did feature on his official Facebook Page the Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines when he made a Courtesy Call to him. 

HDC-3100 Corvette of the Philippine Navy have more Decoys and will likely use the Gokdeniz CIWS

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) unveiled the HDC-3100 Corvette they will be building for the Philippine Navy (PN) during the recent Asian Defense and Security (ADAS) Event, and among other things it will have more Decoy Launchers and could use the Gokdeniz Close In Weapons System (CIWS)
